On August 30, our team departed Memphis, Tennessee for Ometepec, Mexico. Our mission is to move and expand a computer lab built by Seeds Ministries several years ago at a private school operated by Tim and Barbara Wood.
This 12 station lab was key in helping the school become chartered by the Mexican government and the school has increased tremendously since its beginning. While here, we will move the existing lab to a new floor, and expand the network to 20 stations. Thank you to all who contributed toward the purchase of the equipment.
We will try to do regular updates on this site and on the news blog. We hope to include pictures of our progress. If we are able to do so, then you know it is working. If not, then you will know that also!!!
We ask you to pray for the success of the mission, our traveling safety, and for God to use us and the school in a mighty way. We are to return to the states through Houston when Gustav is to be visiting the same area so pray we miss that and can get home soon. Blessings and hopefully more to follow.
We arrived in Ometepec just awhile ago. Yesterday, after arriving in Acapulco, we were able to construct 8 computers and have them ready for installation once we have created the network. Considering everything here is in concrete, installing the network will be interesting!!! Anyway, we are off to church soon. God has blessed us thus far. Please join us as we continue this prayer!!
BTW, tomorrow I meet with the docs here to discuss a medical camp for the spring with the Baptist College of Health Sciences. More later!!!

The trip this year was very successful. We were able to move, build, and setup a 20 station computer lab in the new location at the school. Thanks to all who made this trip possible.
