Crosspoint of India was established as a 501 (C) (3) in the Unites States in 2004 to serve as the arm in this country for RUSA, an organization whose ministry in India has been operational since the 1970s. RUSA, under the leadership of Mr. and Mrs. B.B. Pawar, works to bring Christianity to the people in and around Nagpur, India. The Indian government recognizes RUSA as a Christian organization that is approved to do ministry. This designation allows RUSA to legally minister to the country's inhabitants and to receive international funds as well.
The Pawar's son, Amol, and his wife, Rachel, have committed their lives to ministering to the people of India by reaching its youth. The school they operate provides Bible instruction in a caring and nurturing environment that gives young men and women the tools they need to become witnesses for Christ.
The school will begin its eleventh year of operation this August, and over 100 individuals have graduated from the school, which has a one-year program. The number of students served by the school has increased each year since its opening.
